Keith Allen Haring (Reading, Pennsylvania, May 4, 1958-New York, New York, New York, February 16, 1990) was an artist and

His first solo exhibition was at the Tony Shafrazi Gallery in New York in 1982.
In 1986 he painted a section of the Berlin Wall. In the same year, he opened the Pop Shop boutique, where
he sold his products. In 1989, he created the Keith Haring Foundation, whose aim is to fight for the
the solution of social problems. Died of AIDS-related complications in New York, New
York on 16 February 1990.
